In a short space of time, the White Dog Studio Fine Art Gallery at Nita Lake Lodge has built a name among locals as being one of Whistler’s finest exhibitors of paintings, sculpture, jewellery and ceramics by local artists. However, did you know that they also have a production studio and workshop space in Function Junction?
Founded by Whistler artist Penny Eder, White Dog Studio originally opened it’s doors in Function Junction, and since the move to Nita Lake Lodge, now uses the space to run Whistler’s only studio gallery.
The workshop offers established and up-and-coming artists a great opportunity to sample a true workshop experience. The Function Junction studio plays host to community art workshops and artist demos and allows artists to attend regular scheduled classes in a bid to tap into an undiscovered talent.
Check out the video below from Shaw TV where owner Penny Eder explains why artists and locals alike love White Dog Studio.
